 Cole and Co as a company, was formed in May 1989.Its Principal, Gordon Cole, and all his key personnel have, however, been working together as a team for many years, and already hold an established reputation in their specialised fields of architectural design and surveying, based on strong technical experience. We are Cole and Co. Gordon J Cole, MCIATEducated at Buckingham, Gordon Cole went on to complete an engineering apprenticeship at The Express Lift Co Ltd. in Northampton. Extensive experience in the drawing office there nurtured a natural flair for design and led to Gordon's move to Mixconcrete Estates Department, then subsequently to Baxters (Butchers) Ltd to assist in the design and construction of a new abattoir opened in 1977 From then to the launch of his own company, Gordon Cole further expanded his knowledge by taking an HNC in Building Studies at Nene College. In 1977 he joined an established local partnership, which offered a specialised design and surveying service for architects and engineers, and stayed there to help build and expand the business, until the restructuring of the partnership which led to the setting up of his own practice in 1989.
